In 2015 it was estimated that nearly one in six deaths was related to pollution in some form – air, water, soil, chemical, or occupational pollution.
We are surrounded by toxins. It is in our homes, on the streets, in our workplace, in the products we use, and in the foods, we eat.
The constant exposure to harmful toxins can lead to potential health risks such as cancers, respiratory illnesses, problems with reproductive health, and so forth. Limiting exposure to chemicals takes a conscious effort.
It would be impossible for us to eliminate all toxins, but making small changes in one or more areas can help protect yourself and your family and lessen your body’s toxic burden.
